My Cousin Tone' returns to the Iris stage this coming Saturday, November 17th beginning at 7:30pm. We have been working on a few new tunes and vocal arrangmemts to make for an enjoyable night of jazz, music, and friendship.
This month we will be featuring Nelson Starr on trumpet and Tim Martin on baritone and alto sax. There is quite a chemistry building between these two so be sure to come out and catch the fire .
Also joining us on stage once again will be Mary McMahon on vocals. Mary conitnues to add to her repertoire of classic jazz standards. You will not want to to miss her renditions of such tunes as Fever and Autumn Leaves. Once again we will round out this talent with Karen Ragusa on bass, Jim Matteliano on piano, Bill Basil on drums, and Tony Zambito on percussions.
We will also play a tune or two of Nelson Starr's originals to complement the set list of great tunes from the early '60's, even a Ray Charles tune, and some modern jazz tunes as well.
Iris is located on the corner of Maple and Sweet Home. They offer wonderful drinks and dinners to make it a special jazz evening out. We hope to see you there!
