This Saturday, My Cousin Tone' takes the stage once again with special guest vocalist Mari McNeil. Many of you have most likely seen Mari break out as a jazz singer at various establishments around town.
Recently profiled in the Buffalo News (read here), Mari is on a full-time endeavor to live her dream as a jazz singer backed by notable musicians. Mari brings a distinctive and wonderful vocal stylings not to be missed.
Mari is filling in for Mary McMahon on this evening who recently had shoulder surgery. We will be performing at the Iris Jazz Club in the Maple Entertainment Complex from 7pm to 9pm.
Also accompanying the band will be Nelson Starr on trumpet and Tim Martin on baritone and alto sax. With Karen Ragusa on bass, Bill Basil on drums, Jim Matteliano on piano, and Tony Zambito on percussion.
Come on out and hear two sets of mixed jazz tunes and jazz standard vocals. It is bound to be an engaging night of music with Mari and the band. Doors open at 6pm for those wanting to come and grab a bite and drink. Be sure to come out and hear Mari McNeil and My Cousin Tone' together. It is going to be a fun night!
