On Friday, March 27th, My Cousin Tone’ will be making a special appearance at Nietzsche’s on Allen Street in the Allentown district of Buffalo. We will be there from 6pm to approximately 9pm. There is certainly going to be a celebration as well!
Our special guest for the evening will be vocalist Einat Agmon. A dynamic and soulful singer who brings a range of jazz soul and jazz blues to her rendition of songs. A 2014 JazzBuffalo Readers and Fan Poll nominee, Einat currently performs with the vibrant Blue Stone Groove band as well as in other numerous settings throughout the Buffalo area. She is also a creative presence in the art community through her Einat Agmon Jewelry offerings.
Once again, we will have the band of Karen Ragusa on bass, Bill Basil on drums, Jim Matteliano on keyboards, Tim Martin on sax, AndyPeruzzini on trumpet, Tony Zambito on percussion, with Pete Dauphin joining us on trombone. We will certainly have the big band effect going on Friday! Bringing the big brass sound to jazz classic, blues, and soul.
On Friday March 27th, head down to Nietzsche’s straight after work for we are also going to have our second annual pizza party! And, the two cousins, Karen and Tony, will be celebrating birthdays also - yes we have the same birthdays!
Nietzsche’s is one of the legendary gathering places in Allentown and a place to run into old friends. We hope to see you then as we bring the sound of jazz to Allen Street!
