This Saturday, July 25th, marks the 10th annual Queen City Jazz Festival held from 12 noon until the early evening. The festival takes place on Broadway in front of the Historic Colored Musicians Club on three stages. My Cousin Tone’ will be performing this year for this fantastic festival!
The band will be performing upstairs in the actual historic club at 4:50pm in the afternoon for a 45 minute set. We have some very special guests joining us also! On piano will be Michael McNeil, on trumpet will be Tim Clarke, Elliott Scozzaro on alto sax, and on drums we will have Abdul-Rahman Qadir. Rounding out the group will be Karen Ragusa on bass, Pete Dauphin on trombone, Tony Zambito on percussions, and Mary McMahon on vocals.
The line-up for the jazz festival is nothing short of fabulous.
