In the month of July, My Cousin Tone’ kicks off an exciting summer. Culminating at the end of August with our appearance at the Lewiston Jazz Festival on Friday, August 26 from 5 pm to 7 pm. We are excited to be kicking off the festival this year on the Main Stage. Save the date!
Here is what My Cousin Tone’ has coming up in appearances in the month of July:
On Saturday, July 9th the band travels across the border into Canada. We will be at the Crystal Chandelier in Crystal Beach Canada beginning at 7:30 pm. It is known for its welcoming of dancing as well.
On Tuesday, July 12th we will be at the Grand Island Gazebo as part of their Summer Concert Series. Bring lawn chairs and enjoy the sounds of jazz on a summer evening. The Gazebo is located on 2255 Baseline Road and we will be on from 7 pm to 9 pm.
On Tuesday, July 19th the band will provide entertainment at the Burchfield Nature and Art Center on Union Road in West Seneca from 7 pm to 9 pm.
On Saturday, July 23rd we will be at the Pizza Plant on Transit Road beginning at 7:30 pm
On Sunday, July 31st from 2 pm to 4 pm, the band will be at the Olcott Beach Bandstand. A great way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon at this summer destination.
The band also welcomes Tom Marinaro on tenor saxophone. Tom is a gifted alto and tenor sax performer and is a music teacher in the Williamsville School District. Tom will be joining Tim Martin, baritone/alto sax, Pete Dauphin, trombone, Andy Peruzzini, trumpet, Jim Matteliano, keyboards, Bill Basil, drums, Karen Ragusa, bass, Tony Zambito, percussion, and Mary McMahon, vocals.
