My Cousin Tone' Performs At Pizza Plant Saturday, July 23rd!

My Cousin Tone' performs at the Pizza Plant tomorrow night. Beginning at 7:30 pm. We will feature our usual blend of standards and jazz blues and soul.  With new arrangements by Tim Martin! My Cousin Tone' performs at the Burchfield Art and Nature Center tomorrow night. Beginning at 6:30 pm. My Cousin Tone’ Starts July With A Bang!

In the month of July, My Cousin Tone’ kicks off an exciting summer.  Culminating at the end of August with our appearance at the Lewiston Jazz Festival on Friday, August 26 from 5 pm to 7 pm.  We are excited to be kicking off the festival this year on the Main Stage.  Save the date!

Here is what My Cousin Tone’ has coming up in appearances in the month of July:

On Saturday, July 9^th the band travels across the border into Canada.  We will be at the Crystal Chandelier in Crystal Beach Canada beginning at 7:30 pm.  It is known for its welcoming of dancing as well. 

On Tuesday, July 12^th we will be at the Grand Island Gazebo as part of their Summer Concert Series.  Bring lawn chairs and enjoy the sounds of jazz on a summer evening.  The Gazebo is located on 2255 Baseline Road and we will be on from 7 pm to 9 pm.

On Tuesday, July 19^th the band will provide entertainment at the Burchfield Nature and Art Center on Union Road in West Seneca from 7 pm to 9 pm.

On Saturday, July 23rd we will be at the Pizza Plant on Transit Road beginning at 7:30 pm

On Sunday, July 31^st from 2 pm to 4 pm, the band will be at the Olcott Beach Bandstand.  A great way to spend a summer Sunday afternoon at this summer destination.

The band also welcomes Tom Marinaro on tenor saxophone.  Tom is a gifted alto and tenor sax performer and is a music teacher in the Williamsville School District.  Tom will be joining Tim Martin, baritone/alto sax, Pete Dauphin, trombone, Andy Peruzzini, trumpet, Jim Matteliano, keyboards, Bill Basil, drums, Karen Ragusa, bass, Tony Zambito, percussion, and Mary McMahon, vocals.

Love Is In The Air Three Times With My Cousin Tone'

My Cousin Tone’ gets out to perform three times in the month of February.  Look for us to get underway at Wegman’s on February 5^th at 6 pm.  We will be at the Sheridan and Evans location located upstairs.   Special guest will be sax player extraordinaire David Manth.  We appreciate the regular group of people who attend this casual gathering and it makes for a fun time.

Don’t have plans for Valentine’s Day yet?  Then, brunch is the answer!  My Cousin Tone’ will be performing at the Irishman Tavern from 11 am to 2 pm as part of the special Sunday Brunch being held at the Irishman Tavern, located in Williamsville.  With vocalist Mary McMahon, the band will be sure to include the romantic jazz standards we all love at this time of year.

On Saturday, February 20^th beginning at 8 pm, the band will be back at the Pizza Plant on Transit and Sheridan.  The band has performed at this location regularly and it always turns into a very vibrant time.  Come out and join us for the unbeatable combination of great food, drinks, and music!

MY COUSIN TONE' ANNOUNCES THREE WEGMAN'S DATES!

My Cousin Tone’ will be performing at Wegman’s, on Sheridan and Evans, one Friday per month from January to March of this year.  The band will be playing from 6 pm to 8 pm.  It is always a good time to listen to great music in a relaxing environment.

My Cousin Tone’ will have a variety of players during the three dates, which include special guests Nelson Starr on trumpet, David Manth on sax, and Pete Dauphin on trombone.  The band members Karen Ragusa on bass, Tim Martin on sax, Andy Peruzzini on trumpet, Jim Matteliano on keyboards, Mary McMahon on vocals, Bill Basil on drums, and Tony Zambito on drums will be bringing you the sounds of jazz up on the second landing.  Look for the mix of jazz standards, jazz blues, and classic jazz we love to play for you. 

Plan to come on by for dinner, music, and yes – get some shopping done, too!  We hope to see you there!

Stop by, grab some good eats and shop to the great sounds of jazz.  We will be performing until 8pm.  

We will be up on the second floor.  There are plenty of tables and chairs to have dinner.  Listen to the great American art form we call jazz.  Including some of the Great American Jazz Standards you love.

We always have a good time and the sound is amazingly good on the second-floor cafe'.  Come on out and hear good music and get some good food too! Hope to see you!

My Cousin Tone' Performs At The Pizza Plant This Labor Day Weekend!

My Cousin Tone' will be back at the Pizza Plant this Labor Day weekend.  See us on this Saturday, September 5 beginning at 8pm.  

Join the band of Karen Ragusa on bass, Jim Matteliano on keyboards, Tim Martin on sax, Andy Peruzzini on trumpet, Tony Zambito on percussion, Bill Basil on drums, Peter Dauphin on trombone, and Mary McMahon on vocals.   Our last time in March was a great session and no doubt this will be one as well.

As we always do, we will have a variety of music  for everyone with music - from the Great American Songbook to Horace Silver.  We will be mixing it up with new songs also!

Join us this Saturday at the Pizza Plant.  Voted in the top 5 places in the Buffalo area by Buffalo Rising for the best craft beer selections in the city - to go with their famous pizza pods.  Bring friends and guests in from out of town.  Jazz, good food, and awesome drinks make for a fun night of jazz.

My Cousin Tone' To Perform At Queen City Jazz Festival With Special Guests!

This Saturday, July 25^th, marks the 10^th annual Queen City Jazz Festival held from 12 noon until the early evening.  The festival takes place on Broadway in front of the Historic Colored Musicians Club on three stages.  My Cousin Tone’ will be performing this year for this fantastic festival!

The band will be performing upstairs in the actual historic club at 4:50pm in the afternoon for a 45 minute set.  We have some very special guests joining us also!  On piano will be Michael McNeil, on trumpet will be Tim Clarke, Elliott Scozzaro on alto sax, and on drums we will have Abdul-Rahman Qadir.  Rounding out the group will be Karen Ragusa on bass, Pete Dauphin on trombone, Tony Zambito on percussions, and Mary McMahon on vocals.

My Cousin Tone' At The Irishman Pub Thursday July 2 For Music On Main In Williamsville!

  This Thursday, July 2, My Cousin Tone’ makes an appearance at The Irishman Pub located on Main Street in Williamsville.  We will be performing outdoors on the patio as part of the ongoing Music On Main events taking place on Thursdays in July and August.  The music gets underway at 6pm and goes until 9pm – and yes – we welcome encores!

We will have the full band with us playing jazz, jazz soul, and jazz standards.  Look for Karen Ragusa on bass, Bill Basil on drums, Tim Martin on sax, Andy Peruzzini on trumpet, Pete Dauphin on trombone, Jim Matelliano on keyboards, and Tony Zambito on percussion along with Mary McMahon vocals. 

The Irishman Pub is centrally located on Main Street and is at the center of the Music On Main event.  The weather will be perfect for outdoor jazz in the air!  And, a great way to kick-off the July 4th holiday weekend!
